Unconstitutional Federal Overreach

In the last 100 years, we have seen the federal government go from a constitutional republic, to a bureaucratic nightmare. What we once recognized as constitutional authority, or authority that has been enumerated to one of the three branches of government to provide the checks and balances that make up the very foundation of America and its republican form of government. But today, we have the Federal Reserve acting independently and without oversight, in charge of monetary policy, we stand by as government agencies turn out crippling regulations on business, and bureaucrats write laws, some of which, if broken can result in federal criminal charges. Congress is entrusted with the authority to make policy through changes in the law. We have a judicial branch that has turned into one huge social justice operation, with the constitution acting merely as a suggestion, as activist judges legislate from the bench, and deny executive authority in cases where it is 100 % constitutionally warranted, and authorized.

Congress is given constitutional authority in Article 1 Section 8, “To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures”. Unelected bureaucrats should not have the authority to make law, and it is a disgrace to think that this unelected administrative state has the ability to turn out criminal laws that are still on the books today. If that is not bad enough, we then have the judicial tyranny at the highest levels that sometimes prevents the court from providing that check on legislative overreach. Judicial appointments are now seen as strategic partisan torpedoes that are aimed at sinking opposing ideological views. Our system of government has been gutted and it is now a free for all, a Wild West style system where there are no rules and anyone can do anything that they can verbalize a semi-coherent justification for. Look at the blatant disregard for 4th amendment rights and individual privacy that was implemented after 9/11 via the USA Patriot Act via mass surveillance. Isn’t it ironic that there is nothing at all patriotic about the USA Patriot Act?

Americans got taken for a ride, and it happened after a major disaster, when we were all most vulnerable. These constitutional violations are extremely damaging to a country that was founded on the concept of liberty and freedom, but how many people are upset by this? Probably not as many as one would like to think. Our founders understood tyranny because they were forced to stare it down, toe to toe, face to face. George Washington once said, “Government is not reason, it is not eloquence,—it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant, and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.” This was a man that knew the nature of government, and the absolute need to restrict its power.

How did we get this far away from the original idea of a separation of powers? The simple answer here is frightening when you really understand the full implications, the people went to sleep. Society has been drugged, and sedation has been induced to the extent where people can’t see reality if it is staring them right in the face. It is intentional distraction by the powers that be, in the form of sports, Hollywood, social media, and institutionalized group think that is now a cancer that is metastasizing in American universities, being delivered to our young people by professors that subscribe to a communist ideology, and some that acted as domestic terrorists decades ago. Case in point, Bill Ayers, and his wife Bernardine Dohrn, that were active with the Weather Underground in the 1960’s. The Weather Underground was responsible for blowing up the Pentagon, and also carrying out bombings of other government buildings, up to and including a police station, more specifically, the NYPD. Strategic distraction, and the brainwashing of our children in public school and universities, together create a toxic brew that is dumbing down society, and they are doing it by attacking our impressionable youth. This is by design, and at this point is difficult to get a handle on and reverse course. It is impossible for us to awaken from our slumber, unless we acknowledge the need to reclaim academia from the communists and the progressives, and make it a priority to instill American pride, and values in our children. A nation that is despised by the next generation of citizens, has no future. That is what we are currently teaching our children, and it has to stop.
